Rates for Developmental Editing:
College application (essays, personal statements): A thorough edit of up to 1,000 words (4 pp double-spaced, 12-pt font) with written notes + optional 15 minute meeting + email follow-up.
$85
Personal essays, articles, sample chapters: A thorough edit of up to 4,000 words (about 16 pp double-spaced) with written notes + 45 minute meeting to discuss your writing and goals + optional email follow-up.
$120 (+ .03 per add’l word)
Nonfiction book proposals: Overall analysis and thorough edit of up to 13,000 words (about 52 pp double-spaced) with written notes + one-hour meeting to discuss your work and goals + optional email follow-up + recommended resources.
$475 (+ .03 per add’l word)
Novels and nonfiction manuscripts: with overall analysis + thorough edit with written notes + 90 minute consultation + optional email support + resource suggestions
$1450.00 for up to 50,000 words (about 200 pages double-spaced)
